Foodscaping

We have integrated a variety of berry bushes, perennial herbs, and pollinator friendly edible flowers into our landscaping. The goal is to replace all lawn space with some sort of productive plant.

The strawberry patch across from the herb garden is the latest addition to our foodscape.

The asparagus patch out back is another recent addition to our foodscape. It may not look like much, and it will take a couple of years to really get up and running. After that though it should yield goodies for a couple of decades. Talk about a long term investment!

Our front yard herb garden in bloom. There's rosemary, thyme, oregano, and sage in there. We'll start some annuals in containers as well once the weather warms.
